远程医疗是指以计算机等信息技术为依托，充分发挥一流医院或专科医疗中心的医疗技术和医疗设备优势，对其它有需要医疗机构的患者进行远距离诊断、治疗和咨询。旨在提高诊断与医疗水平、降低医疗开支、满足广大群众医疗需求的一项全新医疗服务。

近日，吐鲁番市人民医院远程医疗系统全面上线，自此“远程医学中心”正式投入使用。该远程医学中心由湖南省进行对口援建，在规划设计、技术支持、集合优势资源等方面均处于疆内、国内较高水平。市人民医院远程医学中心“向上”——疆外现已实现了与中南大学湘雅医院、湘雅第二附属医院、湘雅第三附属医院、湖南省人民医院、湖南省儿童医院、湖南省第二人民医院、湖南省妇幼保健院、湖南省肿瘤医院及北京中日友好医院等国内、国际一流三甲医院的对接；疆内还与新疆医科大学第一附属医院、自治区人民医院、自治区肿瘤医院等医院进行了互联互通；“向下”——该系统一期网络现已全面覆盖高昌区人民医院和市域内四所乡镇卫生院，初步形成了（省、市、县、乡）四级联动的远程医疗服务网络，使吐鲁番市广大群众足不出户就可享受国内最权威专家“一对一”的医疗服务。

据了解，该远程系统支持现场音视频的远程会诊、远程病理诊断、远程影像诊断、远程心电诊断等远程医疗功能，同时还具备远程医疗与教学管理功能，有较为完整的医疗文档记录，可实现电子病历系统、影像系统、检验系统、病理系统数据的交互共享，全面实现了多项远程医疗功能。

远程医学中心的建立在快速提升吐鲁番市人民医院医疗服务能力的同时，还将按照加快推进公立医院改革的要求，以疆内外各大三甲医院为依托，充分发挥专家资源优势作用，全面助推分级诊疗。同时，还将充分发挥市级三甲医院优势，为其它医疗机构提供在线医疗支持，为广大患者提供就诊便利，解除患者的奔波之苦，节省医疗费用。随着远程医疗中心的建成和投入使用，吐鲁番市人民医院的医疗延伸能力将得到进一步提高。

吐鲁番市人民医院（原地区中心医院）是吐鲁番市唯一的一所三级甲等综合医院，是吐鲁番市120医疗紧急救援中心和湖南省医疗人才“组团式”援疆对口支援医院。医院现地址：吐鲁番市新能源示范区库木塔格西路与博格达北路交叉口东北侧（医院大门自交叉路口东行100米）。206路公交车市医院站，208路公交车阳光园二区站下车东行150米。
